Industrial manufacturing of pharmaceutical products begins – “Handel” Products
Dr. Eugenio Antonio Casasco settles down in the city of Luján in 1880, where he starts manufacturing pharmaceutical products –tablets; gelatin and soft capsules- on an industrial scale, turning Casasco into a worldwide pioneer in the production of these pharmaceutical forms. During that time he hands over control to his son, Dr. Eugenio Andrés Casasco, Pharmaceutical Chemist from the University of La Plata.
